  • Glass fiber mats from E-glass "strands divided" are powder bounded chopped strand mats, its spinning thread is divided. So the fiber diameter will halve, whereby a finer glass fiber mat can be produced. This mat suits perfectly for moulded parts with a very tight radii and complex geometrics. It is also recommanded as the first lay behind the gelcoat for a better connection of resin/gelcoat. The very thin fiber of the mat will also help to minimize fiber prints on the surface of the moulded parts, e.g. through coarse meshes and mats. The "strands divided" glass fiber mat is suitable for UP-resins, epoxy resins and vinylester resins (VE-resins). The surface weight of the "strands divided" glass fiber mat amounts 100, 130, 150 and 225 g/m².

Across from E-glass, E-CR-glass has an excellent chemical and thermal resistance as well as a higher dielectric strength.
